For host families
Our Accommodation Officer will keep in close contact with you regarding availability of students, and we’ll do our best to accommodate any special requests.
We ask that our families hosting students with us provide each student with the following:
A warm and friendly Irish welcome.
A clean, comfortable, well-lit space, with sufficient heating, ventilation, natural light, use of a
table or desk and wardrobe.
Clean bed linen and towels should be provided on a weekly basis.
Use of bathroom facilities.
A key or access to your home.
For our younger students, assistance to find his or her way to school on their first day.

Our staff will be with you every step of the way when hosting students: Selecting the host student that best fits your family; guiding you through your student’s transition to their new country; introducing you to other families in your community; and organising optional fun excursions.
All families who host students receive monetary compensation for hosting.
We are committed to ensuring that all our students are welcomed into a safe and friendly environment. This is vital to the success of our programmes. Families wishing to host international students are carefully screened and interviewed in their homes by our experienced accommodation officers and then regularly visited and monitored to ensure the highest standards.
